Lesson 10: Brand Partnerships and Sponsorships

Learn how to identify compatible brands, develop partnership opportunities, create sponsorship pitches, and build collaborations that increase visibility and support an artist’s career.

Outcome. Find partners who fit, and make them a specific offer rather than a request for support.

The right partner shares your audience or your values, ideally both. The wrong partner pays once and costs you the trust of the fans you spent years earning.

A pitch is a case, not a favor: here is my audience, here is the overlap with yours, here is what we each get, here is what it costs. Cultural relevance is the thing brands cannot buy and you already have.

Audience specificity is the asset. A brand does not want a music fan, it wants a named person in named cities, and you can show you reach her.

Offer tiers so there is a yes available at more than one budget, and name a deadline, because a deck with no date sits in an inbox. Then evaluate what comes back honestly, because not every offer is worth taking.

What you will produce

A brand partnership target list, a sponsorship deck with tiers and prices, and a partnership evaluation worksheet you apply before saying yes.
